“ The whole question has been threshed out and organized by wise men of old. They have made a Science of Life complete and perfect; and they have given to it the name of MAGICK. It is the chief secret of the Ancients, and if the keys have never been actually lost, they have certainly been little used.

The holders of those keys have always kept very quiet about it. This has been especially necessary in Europe, because of the dominance of persecuting churches, Again, the confusion of thought caused by the ignorance of the people who did not understand it has discredited the whole subject. It is now our task to re-establish this science in its perfection. “

“The term Magic was not associated with occult jugglery by the Egyptians but arose from a profound understanding of natural law.
Magic is too ancient and too universal to be explained away by mirrors, wires and hinges.
In Egypt we are dealing unquestionably with true manifestations of occult power.
Egyptian mystics could levitate, walk the air, handle fire, live under water, sustain great pressure, harmlessly suffer mutilation, read the past, foretell the future, make themselves invisible, and cure disease.
Thus, “Magic” says General Albert Pike, “is the exact and absolute science of nature and its laws. From this absolute science arises occult science.”

“In this whiteboard short, The Modern Hermeticist’s Dan Attrell briefly outlines eleven affirmations/principles which are central to the philosophy of Thelema as first laid out by the great 20th century occultist Aleister Crowley.

These eleven principles were first simplified and put together in a sort of info-graphic by an anonymous thelemite – it had been floating around the internet for some time, but it has since been converted into video here.”

“In the occult teachings you have been given certain images, under which you are instructed to think of certain things. These images are not descriptive but symbolic, and are designed to train the mind, not inform it”

“The Great Work is the uniting of opposites. It may mean the uniting of
the soul with God, of the microcosm with the macrocosm, of the female
with the male, of the ego with the non-ego—or what not.”

“The Lesser Mysteries aim at giving an all-round preliminary training first in the purification and discipline of character, and then in the development of the intellectual powers, especially that of concentration. All candidates need to pass through this course, and many failures come from too early specialization. It is only after they have passed through the three grades in which consciousness is trained that the dedication is offered and accepted and they pass on to the Greater Mysteries.”

“The technique of black magic differs in no way from that of white
magic; the same principles apply, the same methods are made
use of; the same training in concentration is necessary; the
difference lies in the attitude of the operator, the symbolism
employed, and the powers contacted thereby…”

“First I sung the obscurity of ancient Chaos, How the Elements were ordered, and the Heaven reduced to bound; And the generation of the wide-bosomed Earth, and the depth of the Sea, And Eros the most ancient, self-perfecting, and of manifold design; How he generated all things, and parted them from one another.”

Black Magic of the Atlanteans:

The black magicians of the school of Sodom say that black magic does not exist, that it is only a superstition.

They say that evil and hateful thoughts which are emitted by evil minds are disintegrated since “the cosmic” is pure goodness. Therefore, it cannot serve as an instrument for the forces of evil.

The goal of the black magicians is to justify their tenebrous teachings, in order to give them the false appearance of being pure white magic.

Hence, that concept of the black magicians serves them only in order to conceal their crimes and to cheat naive people.
